GREGORY PINKARD JOINS OBRECHT-RIEHL PROPERTIES
-Local Commercial Real Estate Firm Expands

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – (December 14, 2009) – Susan Obrecht Riehl and John Riehl, principals of Obrecht-Riehl Properties, today announced that Gregory C. Pinkard has joined their commercial real estate and development firm. Obrecht–Riehl Properties is a local commercial real estate firm with a strong reputation in the Baltimore/Washington corridor. The company has developed several million square feet of office, retail and warehouse space in the market since opening in 1997.
Mr. Pinkard’s knowledge within the field of commercial real estate and contacts throughout the Baltimore/Washington market will complement the existing platform and help to broaden the services Obrecht-Riehl provides the metropolitan marketplace.
Mr. Pinkard has more than 25 years experience in multiple aspects of the commercial real estate field. He joined the firm of Colliers Pinkard in 1987 as the Operations Manager for the Baltimore City office and most recently served the firm as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer responsible for human resources, information technology and risk management. An active member of the Baltimore Community, Mr. Pinkard currently serves on the boards of Garrison Forest School, Maryland Science Center, France Merrick Foundation, B&O Railroad Museum and Irvine Nature Center. His professional affiliations include Building, Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors (GBBR).
